These are an ungraded duck eggs. Duck eggs are superior for baking. For those with egg allergies, often they can eat duck eggs when they can't eat chicken eggs. Eating eggs are WASHED and REFRIGERATED at below 45 degrees. They are prepared for eating, are most likely from ducks in our female-only pen, and are not suitable for incubation. 
 
Due to the darkness of some of our eggs, imperfections inside the egg may not be apparent to us. Small spots within the eggs are of no concern, are normal, and in no way impact the edibility of the egg. Always crack farm fresh eggs into a separate container before adding it to your recipe or pan. When in doubt, take a picture to send us, then give it to a pet or store until we get back to you.
 
Please return or reuse our egg cartons to assist our sustainability efforts. Packing tape may be used on the hinges for added durability. Our cartons are compostable, simply remove any tape prior to placing it outside. If picking up at the farm or farmer's market, feel free to bring your own carton or basket to use.
